Reading, PA– This year, C.H. Briggs is pleased to announce another milestone in the history of our company. Thanks to loyal customers, our co-workers, suppliers and strong civic partners, we are proudly celebrating fifty years in business. Since Harry and Georgeanna Briggs first started the company in 1967, C.H. Briggs has grown into a thriving third-generation business. Under the leadership of Julia Klein, C.H. Briggs is now one of the top women-owned companies in the United States offering a wide range of interior building materials and architectural products.
On the occasion of our 50th anniversary, C.H. Briggs is pleased to announce a new TAKEAction paid volunteer time off (VTO) for co-workers. This allows our co-workers the flexibility to give their time to the organizations they feel most passionate about. In addition, our five fulfillment centers – located in Telford (PA), Reading (PA), Savage (MD), Charlotte (NC), and Norcross (GA) – will partner with local Habit for Humanity chapters to donate merchandise to support their important work in our local cities and neighborhoods.
As we turn 50, we are grateful to our customers in those communities who trust us to help them provide high quality material and well-designed projects. Their demands, challenges and feedback have pushed us to continuously improve.
We are pleased to celebrate the past and remain focused on the future to continue to thrill our new and current customers, and add more innovative products from our valued supplier partners.
