The DuPont™ Corian® Design Studio in Philadelphia is a collaborative effort between DuPont and C.H.Briggs. Located in the Marketplace Design Center, Philadelphia's headquarters for interior design, the 2,500 square foot space is showcased as a modern art gallery where architects, designers, specialty retailers and commercial specifiers can expand their understanding of DuPont™ Corian® as an inventive, multi-dimensional design material. We invite the greater Philadelphia's architect and design community to visit and discover Corian's extraordinary flexibility and range.
The Studio's resident Design Consultant, Tiana Bragg, will be on hand to give you a private tour of this exciting new downtown space.

The Design Studio will also host traveling exhibits, educational seminars and other events of interest to Philadelphia's creative community.

From dynamic organic forms to dazzling effects of light and color, Corian is a designer's dream material. By exploiting the unique strengths of Corian -- such as it's ability to be thermoformed into sinuous forms and its translucency -- designers are coming up with even more inspiring and innovative applications. Corian can be etched and carved with CNC machinery and formed into raised textures and patterns, a technique known as Corian Bas Relief. It can also be transformed into custom shapes and contours, sandblasted, routed, carved, laser-etched and backlit, making it ideal for a wide range of healthcare, residential, commercial, furniture and specialty applications.
