The Dynapro Undermount Drawer System

The Dynapro Undermount Drawer System is one of the newest innovations by Grass. Dynapro features many firsts in undermount drawer slide technologies. It is the first undermount slide system to feature a synchronization mechanism; the first undermount system with an integrated three-dimensional adjustment option; and it is the first to offer a heavy duty carrying capacity.

Product Offering

The Dynapro is available for frameless or face frame applications and has a weight carrying capacity from 88 pounds up to 132 pounds (the highest in the industry).  The operating function of Dynapro remains unchanged even when moving heavy loads. The 31mm wide drawer member provide superior stability between the cabinet member and drawer member making it the perfect solution for drawers up to 48" wide.

It is available for 5/8" (16mm) and ¾" (19mm) drawer material in lengths ranging from 229mm (9") to 533mm (21"). A heavy duty slide with a carrying capacity of 132 pounds is available in 457mm (18") to 610mm (24"). The Dynapro offers extended lengths from 686mm (27") to 762mm (30") with a weight capacity of 132 pounds. Rear mounting sockets make the transition from frameless to face frame easy and the front locking devices are offered in a standard version and a narrow version to accommodate any application. Inset brackets are available for face frame inset applications.

3-Dimensional Height Adjustment

Dynapro drawers can be adjusted vertically, horizontally, and in the tilt angle. This is the first undermount slide system that has incorporated the 3 dimensional adjustments. Adjustments are simple operations and easily performed without the use of tools. The side adjustment is located on the front locking device on a roller wheel. Adjust both wheels in the same direction for a ± 1.5mm adjustment. The height adjustment is also located on the front locking device for a maximum of + 3.5mm. The tilt adjustment is an adapter added to the rear of the slide and offers an adjustment of + 4mm. Depth adjustment can be achieved through an elongated hole.

Synchronized Movement

In contrast to conventional undermount slide systems, Dynapro is the only slide that features a synchronization mechanism. Due to the mechanical synchronization of each individual slide rail, the Dynapro moves without any annoying sounds or resistance offering excellent running performance. Abrasion-resistant nylon rollers ensure smooth and even operation. Drawers and pull-outs move quietly, smoothly with no resistance.

Sensomatic

Combine the Dynapro with the Sensomatic, an electromechanical opening system, and you have handle-free opening action with the ever popular soft-closing action. With the Sensomatic, a light touch anywhere on the drawer front surface is all that is required and the drawers open as if by magic. This works beautifully for cabinets or furniture designed without decorative hardware. And again, a slight push closes the drawer in a single motion, gently and quietly.
